The Looks
The looks are the biggest thing here
It’s so Land Rover - so Defender
If I was Land Rover I’d probably be kind of pissed
But as a consumer I love it
I looks box and tough and it still is aerodynamic enough to get good MPG
H pattern headlights
Gull width running bar
Triangle grille mesh like the other Calligraphys
Simpler Wheel arches than the Kona
21 in wheels for Calligraphy
Completely boxy profile shape
C pillar grab handle to access roof
Also used as an accessory mount for XRT
Rear end design is funky but with a purpose
H pattern taillights are mounted low
It’s all in the name of trunk space
Trunk
Speaking of trunk - the Press Release doesn’t want you to think of it as a trunk
They want you to think of it as a Terrace that you’re going to hang out in
The opening is wide and easy to sit in
The space is huge
With third row down 40 cuft of space
Everything folds flat
It’s a great space tbh - class leading
Size
It’s seems a lot bigger than last year
And it is, but it’s partially illusion
It’s just under 2 in longer than last year - not huge change
Wheel base is over 2 in longer tho
It’s still 6 in shorter than Palisade
It’s 4 in taller than last year tho
