The Canadian War Museum in Ottawa houses a collection of powerful and moving imagery chronicling Canada's involvement in wars and armed conflicts starting with our First Peoples up to the current war in Afghanistan. The artwork is incredibly detailed and the artists' impressions and emotions spill out with vivid humanity. These exhibits are a self-guided tour through history, complimented by photos, artefacts, maps and unapologetic graphic details.
