The Future of World Wellbeing |
|
If the world was a patient, the prognosis would be bleak. Half of the global population lacks basic and essential services. Life expectancy of people in low-income countries is 18 years lower than in high-income countries. Deaths for children under 5 are increasing worldwide for the first time in decades, with around half succumbing to undernutrition. And the pandemic has only made this worse, setting us back 25 years in achieving the United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goal for global health and wellbeing.
But collectively, we can make a difference. Join us live on October 28th, 9am ET // 3pm CET to hear how the world’s leading experts are coming together to tackle public health crises through collective action. SPEAKERS /// Alisyn Camerota, CNN (Moderator) /// Daniella Foster, Global VP and Head of Public Affairs, Science & Sustainability for Bayer's Consumer Health Division /// Dr. Lisa Waddell, Chief Medical Officer for the CDC Foundation /// Scott Ratzan, Distinguished Lecturer & Executive Director, CONVINCE USA /// Morenike Fajemisin, Founder of WHISPA |
