On August 1st, 2015 Cheyanne Jessie contacted the Polk County Sheriff's department to file a missing person’s report. Not only was Cheyanne’s 6-year-old daughter, Meredith, missing, but so was Cheyanne’s father, 50-year-old Mark Weekly.

Soon after she called in to the sheriff’s office, two detectives were sent to speak with her. Cheyanne told them that she last saw her daughter on July 18, when Meredith was dropped off at Mark's house. This is the last time that anyone ever saw Meredith or Mark.

The detectives quickly came to believe that Cheyanne’s involvement was much more than she was willing to let on, and that there were many, many questions that needed to be asked.

This is the interrogation of Cheyanne Jessie.
