Unlike many Ragas, Abhogi is very peculiar in nature. It consists of very subtle nuances of Shruti Bheda and Swarasthana Bheda. For instance,the Shadaj is said to be very low; close To Kaakali Nishad(Nishad that is almost in the periphery of shadaj). Similarly Gandhar is very low and close to Shat-Shruti Rishabh(The highest Shruti of Rishabh). In this rendition, I have tried multiple approaches to bring in the flavours of Kanada, Malhar, Bageshri and so on.

Also, I have employed Gayaki(Vocal) approach in Jhala unlike my other videos so far, blending Bol-Bani and Taans of Bishnupur Gharana and vocal elements of Dagarbani.
