Born in Scotland on 25th of March 1990, Muhammad Milad Raza Qadri started reciting nasheeds at the age of three. His interest and love for the recitation of the praises of the Holy Prophet (SAW) came from listening to various lectures of his eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on the love and obedience of the Holy Prophet (SAW). Having gained this attraction to the praises of the Holy Prophet (SAW), Muhammad Milad Raza Qadri started reciting Nasheeds by listening to the various Naat Khwan that used to recite in front of Shaykh-ul-Islam before every lecture. This continued to further enhance Muhammad Milad Raza Qadri's talent and people would love listening to him, as he was barely three years old and was already managing to recite very well. This continued for a while and the defining moment in his recitations came at the age of three when he recited 'meri barbad basti ko basa do ya Rasul Allah (SAW)' in front of his eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. This was a great privilege for him as Shaykh-ul-Islam was the one that had lead him to this path and to recite in front of him was a great honour and source of blessings. Once Muhammad Milad Raza Qadri had completed his recitation, Shaykh-ul-Islam made a supplication (Dua) for him and that supplication was the beginning of Muhammad Milad Raza Qadri's passion for the love and praises of the Holy Prophet (SAW). The flame of love was kept alive and further nurtured by listening to various lectures and Naats of Shaykh-ul-Islam. He once again recited in front of Shaykh-ul-Islam at the age of five and this tiem it was from one of Shaykh-ul-Islam's own naats -- tere hote janam liya hota. Having gained this precious gift from Shaykh-ul-Islam, it is the aim of Muhammad Milad Raza Qadri to pass this on to other youngsters through the recitation of the nasheeds and that love reaches the ears of all the lovers of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) through the captivating voice of Muhammad Milad Raza Qadri. Therefore, Muhammad Milad Raza Qadri continued reciting at various places; mosques, radio stations, gatherings within houses. This further enhanced his talent and boosted his confidence, and he continued with the sole purpose to make the Beloved (SAW) happy. This continued for many years and he also won awards for being such a great Naat Khwan. Moreover, in 2005 Muhammad Milad Raza Qadri decided to release a CD of his Nasheeds after several requests from those that had listened to him. Having made this intention solely for the pleasure of the Holy Prophet (SAW), Muhammad Milad Raza Qadri was once again bestowed with a great privilege: He, once again, recited in front of Shaykh-ul-Islam in al-Hidayah 2006, a camp arranged for the youth. He also had the privilege of reciting in front of Shaykh As'ad Saeed as-Sagharji a renowned Faqih (authority on fiqh) from Syria who was also present at the youth camp. |
