One of the top actors of Kollywood, Suriya has a huge lineup of films in different stages of production.One of them is with director "Siruthai" Siva tentatively titled Suriya 42.On Friday, the makers of the upcoming film released its motion poster, while revealing that the film will be released in 10 languages.This will mark the actor's first pan-Indian release.

Suriya’s upcoming film with director Siva, tentatively titled Suriya 42, began production last month. The makers have now released the motion poster of the film, which also reveals that Bollywood actor Disha Patani will make her Tamil debut in the project.


With music by Devi Sri Prasad, the film will have cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy, and editing by Nishad Yusuf. Madan Karky has penned the dialogues, while the screenplay was written by Adi Narayana.

Actor Suriya has teamed up with director Siruthai Siva for his next film, which is tentatively titled Suriya 42. The new film, which went on floors with all the cast and crew last month after the muhurat puja, will have its motion poster released tomorrow, September 9. The Suriya-starrer, billed as “The Prestigious Mega Project", also features Disha Patani in lead roles along with Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, and Anand Rah in supporting roles.

This will be 5th time DSP will be working for Suriya after Mayavi, Aaru, Singam 1 and Singam 2. Suriya 42 is touted to be a joint production venture of Studio Green and UV Productions. An official announcement on the rest of the cast and crew is awaited.  


Suriya's 42nd titled temporary as 'Suriya 42' directed by Siruthai Siva. The movie star cast includes Suriya, Disha Patani, in the lead roles. The movie is being produced by K.E. Gnanavelraja under Studio Green in association with UV Creations Vamsi-Pramod. Music composed by 'Rockstar' Devi Sri Prasad.
Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan: 1 is also inspired by writer Kalki Krishnamurthy's classic novel of the same name. Helmed by Annaatthe director Siruthai Siva, Suriya 42, is exclusively produced by UV Creations and Studio Green. 

The movie is planned to release in 10 languages and in 3D. The motion poster for the movie released on Sept 9, 2022.
