Gem Harvest, despite being an amazing episode, did not bring any new lore to the table regarding the Diamond Authority or Homeworld. What it did give us however, is a new ending theme. Listening to these new end credits, there is a huge possibility that this is the beginning of something really important for the series. In fact, it may just be hinting at the return of Homeworld, or even the corruption song. With this in mind, I give some possible outcomes for what this new ending theme may actually be alluding to.
