ADHD & Living Intensely |

Can you relate?
If you do this you MUST have ADHD You procrastinate, intensely, you talk intensely, you walk intensely because overall you just have this all or nothing mindset since your brain literally never shuts off and keeps looking for stimulation even in the most boring moments. You’re either in a really good or really bad mood. You either did a great job, or a terrible one. You are always more invested because you have to be, it gives you dopamine, and so when you achieve something you’ve been working at for months or years, it should mean so much to you. Because, let’s be honest, you were invested all the way. You never took a breather. Your brain didn’t let you sleep. You were worrying it wasn’t gonna work. But instead of celebrating your brain often quickly moves on the next stimulating thing and you forget your progress. But how about this time, you don’t move on right away. How about this time, you bathe in your accomplishment. Think back to it, however small it may be - what was something you didn’t think possible a few years ago and look at where you are now. Think back to how much it would have meant to you back then. Enjoy that feeling because you deserve it.
