I grew up watching Lost in Space, which was showing on Channel 4 on Sunday afternoons. It introduced me to the world of Irwin Allen.

To some people this show is old and cheesy, to me its fun escapism, with some good moral stories too.

I finally managed to buy this set for a good price. HMV are selling them at £ 12.99 a set.

There have been some reviews of these sets, which have complained about the quality of picture. I agree with the reviews as the episodes don't look like they have been digital cleaned. Which is a shame as shows like Star Trek and Doctor Who have been getting good treatment.

Maybe one day this series will get a make over. I better start saving.
