In a truncated week, the Nifty is expected to test 23,000 levels as India enters the final 2 phases of the Lok Sabha elections. On the downside, the immediate support level is at 22,300, and a breach of this could see Nifty move towards 22,100. Globally, the tech-heavy Nasdaq led the three major U.S. stock indexes with a boost from chips, as Nvidia Corp advanced ahead of its closely watched earnings report, expected on Wednesday. Among stocks in focus today will be BHEL ahead of its earnings. Banking counters post RBI's co-lending warning. ONGC, Oil India & SAIL will also see reaction to their earnings.
