Chords, Scales & Arpeggios are an essential part of any guitar players repertoire.

Today we look at the 3NPS Ionian #5 (Ionian Augmented) Scale - Mode 3 of the Harmonic Minor Scale.

I played the example in A, over a Drone in A so you can clearly HEAR the intervals in relation to the Root.

It is extremely beneficial to learn the shapes as intervals and not as dots. Learning the intervals will drastically improve your playing and improvisation skills.
