And one of the last true movie stars in Hollywood. These are just some of the narratives that award voters will be looking to follow as the race for the Best Actor Oscar begins to kick into gear.

In this video, we’ll be predicting a nomination list of our own. As is typical of the awards season, there are those potential nominees who have broken out early with a substantial lead over their competition, but there are also those who are steadily gaining momentum and may have the resume and support necessary to pull off a major upset.
