In a new report from Redfin, a record number of homebuyers are looking to relocate to more affordable areas due to skyrocketing housing costs that stem from record high home prices and spiking mortgage interest rates. In today’s housing market update, I share all the details including another report that the vacation home housing boom is winding down.

To give you a quick mortgage interest rates update, according to the Mortgage News Daily the average 30yr fixed rate mortgage is around 5% for the current mortgage rates (at the time of filming this video). That’s up ~2% YTD for the average 30yr fixed rate mortgage.
