Android 10 on a six year old phone?!? LineageOS 17.1 on the Oneplus One. |

If you've never tried out a sideloaded rom for an android device, it isn't exactly the most easy or intuitive thing to do, but the rewards can be pretty worthwhile, because they can extend the usable life of unsupported devices by years if the manufacturer is no longer doing the monthly security updates. So, what's the verdict on using a device older than the oldest currently supported iPhone? Surprisingly, not bad. If you want to try it yourself, I have links everything you need, as well as a companion video going through the whole process.
