Statement of Need Practice rapidly evolves with the development of new pharmacological interventions. Providers are not always aware of the latest pharmacology guidelines and updates in the treatment of chronic medical conditions. Objectives At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to: Describe pathophysiology of Type 2 diabetes List diagnostic approaches for identifying Type 2 diabetes Review pharmacologic treatment options for diabetes. Apply evidence-based recommendations to patient cases.
