🚨⚖️ Join me as we recap day three of the Johnny Depp versus Amber Heard defamation case.

Today was a crazy day! It started off with the video deposition of Kate James, Amber Heard's former Personal Assistant. She wasn't exactly a fan of Amber nor was she best pleased to be testifying, but as her testimony rolled on we gained insight as to why she feels the way she does.

Next up was Dr. Laurel Anderson, former couples therapist to Johnny and Amber. She gave some insight into the dynamics between the couple and how they communicated and acted with one another.

Following Dr. Anderson, we heard from Gina Deuters. Gina is a friend of Johnny Depp. She was clearly very nervous, but she pushed on and made her best effort. After some time the defense moved for a sidebar and a few moments later the judge asked Gina whether she'd viewed any of the proceedings in the case to this point. Gina admitted she'd viewed some clips, and was promptly dismissed and her testimony struck from the record.

Finally, we closed out the day with testimony from Dr. David Kipper, an addiction specialist who treated Johnny Depp for his various vices. He provided some insight into Johnny's struggles and his treatment of him, and recounted some memories of the 'Australia Incident'. Before his testimony was finished the Judge adjourned court for the day, and his testimony will resume Monday.

Remember, Friday's are off days in this particular trial. For a bit of background, this case stems from Amber's 2018 OpEd in The Washington Post. Ms. Heard has also filed counter claims of a similar nature against Mr. Depp stemming from comments made by his legal team.
