Being discarded by a narcissist erases your ability to trust or empathise. I’m a narcissist. |

I lost track in regard to discontinued memory. The narcissist literally forgets A LOT and fills in the blanks with ‘supposed logical experiences’ so sometimes the breaks in cognition can appear as gaslighting or lying. They genuinely can’t keep track of what they have actually done or said because of their fractured personalities and beehive mindset.
For clarification, survivors of narcissistic relationships suffer from a type of Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) that presents with the same symptoms as Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) namely depression, mood swings, aggression, suicidal thoughts induced by feelings of complete worthlessness and self-blame. Ultimately it temporarily fractures your personality but some victims never fully recover. If you survive a narcissistic relationship without killing yourself you can never regain your trust or ability to empathise. These two conditions are untreatable and will remain with you forever. It’s healthy to be a little narcissistic. It’s destructive to be a toxic narcissist. If you do have a relationship with a narcissist and reach the discard stage then you yourself will come out of it a narcissist. It is an extremely contagious and dangerous disorder. I myself like being a narcissist. It’s better than feeling emotional pain and worrying about everyone else. I am completely self-serving with no conscience…it’s very liberating. Professor Sam Vaknin is a physicist diagnosed Psychopathic Narcissist with a 190 IQ. This lecture is very interesting if you can be patient enough to tolerate the translators. It gave me time to take notes and now I know exactly what I am….a Psychopathic Narcissist.
