One pays attention to the family before naming a child. This forms the basis on which Yoruba of Nigeria customs are carried out. Kamiye Shayo- Olu is a fifteen year old pupil at Brookhouse School Karen who hails from Western Nigeria. Her hobbies including, reading, writing, drawing, cooking and listening to music. In the future, she aspires to travel the world and experience new cultures, expanding her knowledge and widening her perspectives while simultaneously creating an impact in the lives of many. She has lived in four countries including Kenya and hopes to continue to move from place to place in the future as per her nomadic nature.
