Real Veterans, Real Victories: Dave

video thumbnail
While serving as a rescue swimmer in the U.S. Coast Guard, Dave Riley contracted a serious bacterial infection that resulted in the amputation of all four of his limbs. During his recovery, he found strength in knowing he could do anything if he worked hard enough, and went on to become DAV’s first quadruple amputee and the first Coast Guard veteran to be elected to the organization’s top post: National Commander.

DAV is a leading nonprofit charity that provides a lifetime of support for veterans of all generations and their families. Every year, DAV helps more than 1 million veterans in positive, life-changing ways by helping them access benefits they earned, like healthcare, education, and disability, and connecting them to meaningful employment opportunities.

With the right support, more veterans will get the benefits they were promised. With DAV, and your help, more veterans will find their victory.
