Improvisational steps to break borders. A dance essay.

Lisa Naugle is Professor and Chair of the Department of Dance at UC Irvine's Claire Trevor School of the Arts. Lisa earned her MFA from Tisch School of the Arts and her Ph.D. in Dance Education at New York University. Since 1991, Lisa has been exploring the convergence between choreography and improvisation for performances with digital media. Her choreography has been presented nationally and internationally in Canada, England, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, China and Korea.
