Ranging from 'getting over a slump' to 'How Isolation makes one grow', Aleina Gandhi, a student herself; provided to the audience 3 essential steps to 'Emotional Reconstruction'. Firstly, she introduces the significance of foundation- learning to dance from a young age Aleina expounds on how she hadn't realized that she missed the little pleasures of dancing until she had no access to it anymore.
Secondly, She states how crucial Reclamation is- she expounds on how her monotonous routine of 'self-pity' and 'disorganization' was broken through the exhilaration of joining online ballet classes again. She also expressed how giving the piano a second chance made her feel content. Aleina Gandhi is an avid writer, fashion enthusiast, and passionate activist, she founded and runs Frivolous, an E-magazine and safe space for girls and women of all ages to bond over music, fashion and feminism. She is a keen biology and chemistry student, with an interest in coding and statistics. Aleina is a talented pianist in addition to being a dancer with over 10 years of experience. She also has a flair for languages, articulate in both Spanish and French. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
