--------------------------------------------------------------
After 2 years, I can say that this was definitely the most impactful journey I've had so far.

I started this project on October 24, 2021, right after posting my Blue Clapper fan animation.

Thank you to Wang, Kent, and Shibi for saving me from losing motivation in doing the base colors for the last half of the animation. Thank you to the people who stopped by whenever I streamed on Twitch working on this. Thank you to my friends who kept on reminding/pressuring (lmao) me to finish this, and thank you to everyone who supported me throughout this journey.

I had the idea to make this MV months before I started. I had the dance in my mind, and I just dance (flailing my arms) in front of my laptop every time this song is played.

I didn't take video reference of myself because I can't dance, but I did "dance" in front of the mirror multiple times. I feel like if I did take a reference video, or if I had an actual dancer give me a reference video, it would have turned out better.

Thinking about my recent projects, I think Suspect should not have taken almost 2 years to finish. If I didn't do other personal projects or do commissions, this might have been done so much earlier. But those other projects were what I needed to do to refresh my mind and regain my focus and motivation.

This started as a "fun fan art" for the Vtubers, but I could not deny that it slowly turned into a commitment for myself. Outside being a fan of these talents, it became a vital personal goal.

Suspect did not have to take this long, but without doing this, I would not have learned discipline, focus, and work confidence. I would not have improved my art and animation skills in this rate, and I would not have been so much faster in doing work. Because of Suspect, I got pushed to think of ways to be faster, quicker processes, deciding when to call things "finished". And I think that's one of the most important things I learned with this project - "moving on".

I would have done so many things differently if I started Suspect now, I would be so much faster too. But without Suspect, I would not have learned to finish Revisiting Atlantis in 45 days, Let Me Dance in 20, and my commissions usually within a week.

I'm not sure what to feel about Suspect right now, but I am proud of finishing it, and I am proud of what I can do now because of it, and I am happy with the things I learned from it.

I have so many things to say about this long journey, but I've already said so much. I'll end this by saying:

After 2 years, I can say "it was worth it".

Thank you.
