When comparing green-house gas emissions from different countries, the numbers used have been based on the emissions produced in each country. Thus the embodied emissions in goods and services imported from other countries have not been used as a means to influence the end user consumption. In this talk production-based and the comsumption based emission goals are discussed and compared.

Robert is the initiator of the Climate goal initiative and has been a very active participant in the Swedish debate around sustainability and growth as the coordinator of the Steg 3 network. Communications professional driven by the lust to create & explore and an urge to make the world better. He has experience from communication strategy, branding, advocacy, op-ed writing, social media marketing, fundraising, PR, project managing- and creating communication campaigns. The last years most of my time has been spent on communication strategy and analysis.
