An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 on the Richter Scale hit Sonitpur, Assam on Wednesday at around 7:51 AM, National Center for Seismology reports. According to reports, tremors were felt in Bihar, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and other parts of the northeast.
