Rihanna and her boyfriend, ASAP Rocky are having their first child! And we couldn’t be happier.

But with all the hype around their relationship and the new baby, it leaves some of us wondering where it all started. For those who may not know, Rihanna and Rocky have had a long friendship that has spanned over a decade. And even back then, it was rumored that the two had been dating. They collaborated on a remix of her song, “Cockiness” in 2012 and even went on tour together the very next year. According to ASAP, Rihanna’s team called him to join her tour as a “special request” by Rihanna herself. She even played the role of his girlfriend in one of his music videos and they could’ve easily fooled us into thinking they were a real couple. Their chemistry has always just been that good.

Yet they still denied being linked romantically. In 2018, they started making more than a few public appearances together and that’s when the rumors really started flying. From fashion shows to Fenty Skin campaigns, ASAP seemed to always be by her side. And we were here for it! So you can imagine how psyched her fans were when it was confirmed in 2020 that they were finally dating.
