Stoke City produced an away day performance to be proud of as Steven Schumacher’s side secured their Championship status with a 1-0 victory at Southampton.

The Potters displayed endeavour and commitment to more than match their promotion-chasing hosts and created several opportunities either side of Tyrese Campbell’s sublime finish which earned all three points.

City moved to 53 points with victory at St. Mary’s as a run of one defeat from seven matches has seen Schumacher’s side climb away from the bottom three at the season’s business end.
