Born in Tehran, Iran, Ghazal is now studying at the University of Würzburg and meanwhile working as an English teacher.

Based on her personal experience she got interested in the impact of tremendous amount of news and data we are exposed to every day. In her speech she wants to talk about its correlation with stress and depression and the importance of raising more awareness about emotional education and self-consciousness in the digitalization era. It seems crucial that each of us develop our personal strategies to reduce the impact of the stress imposed by the modern life style, just a little sanctuary to shelter at the end of the day. As Ghazal has figured out hers in painting and philosophy.
Ghazal loves reading, abstract art and jogging. Inspired by Yuval Noah Harari and his attitude toward the notability of psychological stamina and the ability to reinvent ourselves in the course of our future.
