The history of the Black Death continues as it arrives in Southern Europe. Spreading via the sea lanes the plague infects a host of major port cities and then begins to move inland. The greatest pandemic the world has ever known has thus been unleashed. As the death rate soars people try to come to grips with the Great Mortality.
