Second earthquake hits in Turkey after more than 1,000 killed - BBC News

Another large earthquake has hit south-eastern Turkey, after a first 7.8-magnitude tremor killed more than 900 people in the country and hundreds more in Syria. 

Rescuers are racing to save people trapped beneath the rubble after hundreds of buildings collapsed in both countries. 

World leaders have pledged to send aid after Turkey issued an international appeal for help.
