Inspiration behind this video:

Kraven may not be establishing a common theme, but that doesn't mean the franchise can't have a more defined through line. As the characters most akin to superheroes in Sony's Spider-Man Universe, Venom, Morbius, Vulture, Rhino, El Muerto, and Hypno-Hustler could be Kraven the Hunter's prize collection. After all, Spider-Man's absence in Sony's Spider-Man Universe gives Kraven the freedom to pursue other victims, and Kraven's hunting obsession could be a compelling excuse to gather every all Sony anti-heroes together.

If not literally, El Muerto and Hypno-Hustler could also be linked metaphorically to the rest of Sony's characters. El Muerto could choose an animal motif for his wrestling persona while Hypno-Hustler could base his identity around mythological sirens, for example. Whatever their origin story and abilities may be in Sony's Spider-Man Universe, future Spider-Man villains will likely need to have either a literal or a symbolic connection with each other. Whether that means gaining powers like Kraven the Hunter is yet to be seen.
