Once the pigeon understood that pecking the bar could release a reward / reinforcement, three different tests were run.
- 1st run, no food was released at all & the pigeon stopped pecking the bar completely, as expected.
- 2nd run, food was always released. The pigeon pecked the bar moderately. It wasn't particularly interested in it.
- 3rd run, food was released intermittently (irregularly). The pigeon pecked the bar 'frantically and incessantly.'

Dear pigeons, I feel your pain when people call you 'flying rats.' We must end this discrimination once and for all. #HelpAPigeonOut

Seriously, though. If you feel like learning more on the experiments and Skinner's important work I recommend you watch this lesson (https://youtu.be/rCKK6r15fro) from a yale course available online for free.

The *reinforcement* is the reward I talk about in the *Power of Habit* - https://youtu.be/Zq2LVa36ukk and *How to stop smoking / bad habits* - https://youtu.be/SzgEpV-pz_c video. The majority of my work here is related. I sincerely hope you're able to connect the dots.

The upcoming video is from the Art of Seduction coming Monday as per newly-set time schedule.
Try to put that crackberry down for a moment & check out the linked yale course lesson.
