US large-scale paratrooper drills in Estonia
The American military was transported in at night to their landing site at Nurma airport directly from their base in North Carolina. According to the General Staff of the Estonian Defense Forces, more than 700 paratroopers and several dozen units of military equipment were dropped "in a tactical situation as close as possible to the real one." Exercise Swift Response began on May 5th. This is part of a series of the largest US exercises in Europe in 25 years, Defender Europe - close to the Russian border. Source: RT t.me/rtintl |
