Paul Brown gave great news to Arsenal fans, asking them to wait for Shakhtar Donetsk's winger Myhaylo Mudryk to join the club in January. Mudryk remains one of the North London side's top targets but their initial offer was rejected and deemed insufficient. However, the €100m asking price from Shakhtar Donetsk cannot be met by the North London outfit but that won't stop the deal from happening according to Paul Brown. At present, another round of talks is underway with the expectation that both sides will shift their positions as the journalist has implied that the winger's desire to join the Premier League leaders could be pivotal in negotiations and force an agreement. Brown told GiveMeSport: “His club are looking for far more than Arsenal have so far made clear they are willing to pay. “Something needs to happen here - they have to significantly increase their offer or put more money on the table that is guaranteed and not just bonuses. “I think there's some negotiating to be done, but the fact that Mudryk likes Arsenal and wants to play for them is a huge boost for Arsenal's chances.”
