The muscle-up is an impressive skill that many wish to conquer, once your pull-up and dip have been mastered, it is an achievable challenge to strive for.

The adaptive ring muscle-up is a preparatory exercise that will help you learn how to transition between the pull-up and the dip.

In this exercise, you use your legs to help you work on the transition.

Placing your legs on the ground will make it easier to pull yourself up and transition to the bottom of the dip.

How to do the adaptive ring muscle-up?

1️⃣ Place a set of gymnastic rings slightly lower than your shoulder height.

2️⃣ Start by kneeling on the ground with both legs and grasp the rings in a false grip.

3️⃣ Continue to do the same as you will in the classic muscle-up. But push your body with your legs to assist in the transition phase.
