Nissan has launched the Geza edition of the Magnite.

Price: Prices for the Magnite range between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 11.02 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Variants: You can buy it in five broad variants: XE, XL, XV Executive, XV and XV Premium. The Red Edition is offered in three variants: XV MT, XV Turbo MT and XV Turbo CVT.

Colours: Nissan offers the Magnite in three dual-tone and five monotone shades: Pearl White With Onyx Black, Tourmaline Brown with Onyx Black, Vivid Blue With Storm White, Blade Silver, Flare Garnet Red, Onyx Black, Sandstone Brown and Storm White.

Seating Capacity: It’s a five seater subcompact SUV.

Boot Space: The Magnite comes with a boot space of 336-litre.

Engine and Transmission: It comes with two petrol engine choices: a 1-litre naturally aspirated engine (72PS/96Nm) and a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine (100PS/up to 160Nm). A five-speed manual transmission is standard, and the turbo engine can also be had with a CVT (with torque output reduced to 152Nm).

Features: It boasts an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a seven-inch digital instrument cluster. It also gets LED headlights with LED DRLs, and auto air-conditioning with rear vents.

The Tech Pack, which is available with the XV and XV Premium trims, comes with features such as a wireless phone charger, air purifier, JBL speakers, ambient lighting and puddle lamps.

Safety: Dual front airbags, a 360-degree camera, hill-start assist and electronic stability control (ESC) and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) ensure passenger safety.

Rivals: Nissan Magnite rivals the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger, Citroen C3 . The subcompact SUV will also compete with the likes of Maruti Fronx and Hyundai Exter.
