'Boom Clap' Singer Charli XCX To DJ LA High School Homecoming |
|
Charli XCX, the English singer-songwriter with the radio hit "Boom Clap," is about to take a Los Angeles high school homecoming from 0 to 100.
Just Dance is working to give an inner-city school a homecoming they'll never forget Oct. 22, featuring a performance by Charli XCX who will also be DJing the dance. Born Charlotte Emma Aitchison, the 22-year-old wrote and is featured on "I Love It" with Icona Pop as well as "Fancy" with Iggy Azalea -- both of which had international success and catapulted her to stardom. "Boom Clap" must have been the right color, because it gave Charli XCX her first top 10 hit as a solo artist on the Billboard Hot 100.
