A new CCTV video emerged from March 1, showing the suspect at a Bengaluru cafe where he spent nine minutes before leaving his bag. Wearing a hat, mask, and sunglasses, he concealed his identity. The suspect planted an explosive device inside Rameshwaram Cafe, injuring at least ten people in the subsequent blast. CCTV footage indicates he entered the cafe at 11:34 am, bought food, but left without consuming it at 11:44 am. Shortly before the blast at 12:56 pm, he was seen outside, walking hurriedly. The police have mapped his movements using CCTV footage and secured 40-50 recordings. The case has led to teams of police, firefighters, forensics, and bomb disposal squads converging at the site. The Bengaluru Police filed cases under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and Explosives Substances Act, with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) taking over the investigation. Karnataka's Deputy Chief Minister stated the suspect's age as approximately 28 to 30, but the prime suspect remains at large.
