Another J&K separatist, Hilal Ahmed Waar, was detained on Wednesday (November 4) from his residence ahead of his scheduled press conference on the 'sperataist million man march' called by hardliner Syed Ali Shah Geelani. Geelani's rally coincides with that of prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit on November 7. Geelani, who is under house arrest at his Hyderpora residence, has called for a 'Million Men March' at Tourist Reception Centre ground in Srinagar on the day the Prime Minister is scheduled to address a public rally at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium. JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik, Democratic Freedom Party chief Shabir Ahmad Shah and several second rung separatist leaders were detained a few days ago by police, their aides claimed.
