The new Share Factory Studio that is found on the PS5 is simply incredible! It is so easy to capture 4k footage, edit the clips, record audio, and upload it straight to Youtube without ever having to leave your couch.

As a video production professional who has been working in the field for 10+ years, I am simply blown away by all of the features that this FREE app brings to the table. I have used everything from Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut 7, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer, Davinci Resolve, Lumafusion, etc and I am truly blown away by how simple and easy it to create high quality content on my PS5. No, it is not perfect by any means. It is though fully possible for someone to effectively run a Youtube Channel using nothing but your PS5 console.

The fact that the Xbox One and Series X|S consoles do not have this kind of capability is astounding - especially when the PS4 has been putting these kinds of creative tools in the hands of gamers since it's release in 2013. Even the new Xbox Series X|S consoles STILL do not have any features like this built into them. Sure, there is a share button - but there is no editing suite available directly on the consoles. Sony really has the upper hand here.
