Simon Trudel loves exploring and specifically spending time on glaciers. After realizing he and his kids may miss out due to melting glaciers, his anger and skills helped him discover a revolutionary way to produced renewable energy on a large scale.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
