K-2 Black Panther: South Korea's Mighty MBT Beast |
|
South Korea's primary combat tank, known as the K2 Black Panther, was created by Hyundai Rotem and the Agency for Defense Development.
The XK2 program led to the development of the K2 Black Panther main combat tank. Using domestic technology, South Korea created this next-generation main battle tank. Its initial prototype was unveiled in 2007 after work started in 1995. This tank has since been tested and assessed. 2014 saw the signing of the production contract for the first 100 K2 tanks. It was reported that the first 100 tanks in the batch were delivered in 2016, and further tanks were supposedly in production. Initially, the South Korean army needed about 300 of these brand-new tanks. The improved K1 and K1 A1 main battle tanks will be supported in service by the K2 Black Panther. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– ► Please Note: Full Credit to the Owner (All images, Music, and pictures shown in the video belong to their respective owners) –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– for any quarries or copyright issues, feel free to contact us: ► themilitarycuriosity@gmail.com ► follow us on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/themilitarycuriosity/ ► follow us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063865422749 –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Creative commons 3.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ ⚡ Disclaimer: Any footage in this video has only been used to communicate a message (understandable) to the audience.
