In this step by step watercolor tutorial I'll show you how to paint bamboo trees in a few simple steps. You'll only need 3 colors, Lime yellow, a darker and lighter green. You can also only use a darker green with the lemon yellow and mix them to get the lighter green. First I'll show you how to create the background in the wet on wet technique then how to use a flat brush to paint these trees with a few simple strokes.
This painting process is very meditative and relaxing and I highly recommend to give it a try.

- Hooker's green, Daniel Smith
- May green, Schmincke

Brushes:
- Flat brush, Multi, Nr 12, Synthetic
- Round brush, Raphael, Nr 12, Soft aqua

Paper:
100% cotton, Cold pressed, 300 gsm
