The Greater Midwest Lego Train Club (GMLTC) is a key part of the Twin City Model Railroad Museum. The LEGO layout is at the front of the Museum as you enter.
Jesse Mohler is a TCMRM Board member and also Volunteer Co-ordinator and a member of the GMLTC. In the video, Jesse describes: LEGOs, LEGO trains and the history of the Greater Midwest Lego Train Club. The video also has more scenes from the LEGO Train Layout from a Night Trains session a few years ago. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can visit the Museum - it is open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The Museum is Open: Friday 10 AM - 3 PM Saturday 10AM – 3 PM Day Trains 3PM - 7 PM Night Trains Sunday 12 PM – 5 PM Monday 10 AM – 3 PM Please check the website for details https://www.tcmrm.org/ ------------------------------------------- Museum is located on Transfer Road (Cleveland Ave) near University Avenue next to the old Amtrak Station. The address is 668 Transfer Road - Suite 8 St. Paul Minnesota 55114 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Museum features more than 15 layouts to see and run the trains and operate the accessories . There are many buttons to push. There is also a Children's Area where girls and boys can operate as well as work on trains. There are work tables where they can create and build models and play with wooden trains. There is a LEGO Work Area and Thomas the Tank Trains to run as well. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Museum has different model train gauges and scales including: the Lego display - LEGO Gauge - The Midwest LEGO Train Layout – LEGO Gauge – about 1/55th O Scale - the internationally renowned O Scale layout – 1/48th G - Garden – about 1/24th Standard Gauge -1/32nd O Scale – 1/48th O Gauge - Lionel Trains LEGO – between O and S Gauge S Scale – 1/64th S Gauge – American Flyer OO Scale - 1/72nd HO Scale – 1/87th N Scale - 1/ 160th Z scale – 1/22th.
