Should Easter Eggs Have A Calorie Warning? High Rates Of Childhood Obesity Sparks Fiery Debate | GMB

They have been on the supermarket shelves for weeks, with around 80 million being sold every year. But researchers from Oxford University say that hiding Easter eggs from the entrance and end of aisles in shops will help Brits slim down. Strategic positioning of chocolate eggs increases sales by 18 per cent. The average child will consume 8 of them. That's an estimated 8,000 calories. So, with two thirds of Brits being overweight or obese, and with the UK having one of the highest rates for childhood obesity in Europe - is it time to tell the Easter bunny to stop being so generous?
