Sergio Alvarez Leiva is the founder of Vizzuality, an exciting enterprise which is leading the data visualizaton of the world. In this speech, he demos one of his most recent works: a sofware that allows to discover the climate of 100 years ago. And how he does this? Facilitating the digitalization of hundred of thousand of logbooks, one century old, and having the crowd to read them and extract the key information. Crowdsourcing at its best and beautiful.
