The Supreme Court agreed to hear a petition opposing the Centre's decision to forbid the BBC documentary on PM Narendra Modi and the 2002 Gujarat riots. In a PIL, attorney M.L. Sharma argued that the prohibition of "India: The Modi Question" was ill-intentioned, arbitrary, and unlawful.
