What was bushido? Two great swordsmen, Musashi and Kojiro, who could only find their way through battle. The outcome of the "Duel on Ganryu Island," in which they clashed in a battle over the art of war they believed in, remains a mystery to this day.

Based on the storyboards drawn by Syun Osawa, and Shizo. Osawa started production shortly afterwards, and Osawa and Shizo combined their respective drawings of Ganryujima into one work.
