How America's Trails Reflect America's Culture | Sean Jenness | TEDxEustis

video thumbnail
In this talk, recorded at TEDxEustis in January 2018, anthropologist Sean Jenness describes wrestling with the question "what do you want to be when you grow up?" and how ultimately a six-month 3,100-mile hike along the Continental Divide Trail helped reframe the question.
When others are asked to describe Sean Jenness in one word, they respond with answers like 'Adventuresome, creative, organic, outgoing, caring, persistent and passionate about his cause'. Sean's interest include art, culture, gardening, design, conservation, preservation, environmentalism and nearly all things nature.
