League of Champions was the final act of Salaam Cricket 2019. Batting great Vivian Richards along with Nasser Hussain, Michael Clarke, Misbah-ul-Haq, Wasim Akram and Sunil Gavaskar discuss the ongoing 2019 World Cup at Salaam Cricket 2019.
While talking about whether the home crowd pressure is going to affect England, Viv Richards said that it remains to be seen 'how they deal with real pressure'.
"We all have been talking about England as the favourites. They have a solid team on paper but the game is played out in the middle. I am yet to be convinced by how they deal with the real pressure. Lord's is the Wembley of cricket. Everyone remembers what happens in the final and big guys turn upon such occasions," said Richards.
Hussain, on the other hand, feels that this will be the first time that England will be feeling the heat as no one expected them to win the tournament before.
"For the first time, there is pressure on England. Everyone here has waited years and years for this. When it comes to that semi-final, we know that our captain is not a bottler but you don't know until the day. You have to try and convince yourself that it's not important when it's very much so as Alan Knott told me once," said Hussain.
